Wednesday 8/July, and Irene and I took our first reading near Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta general start. Results were 738 cfu/100ml which, if it were a lab measured reading, the E.A. might classify as Sufficient. The precise location of sampling was at   W&S Regatta general start  where there is a small “No Mooring” sign. No regatta pontoons in place yet. We hope to take a reading here each week leading up to the regatta. I hope the results won’t be too scary. I plan to be at the regatta, and possibly get wet.
