SWIM in HoTWater

  I did a presentation on SWIM to Shiplake Parish AGM, and asked if the parish would consider contributing. The floor was then asked whether the Parish should provide funding, and they responded “yes”.  The Parish Council will now consider this at their next meeting.🙂 🥁 The results are in….. We got funding from the Shiplake Parish 😁

Very low readings again this week 52 cfu/100ml, and last week it was 11 cfu/100ml. The water above Shiplake lock is upstream of Wargrave Sewage Treatment Works 

 

  Today’s reading jumped to 2159 (Poor) HoTWater’s Fluidion Alert 1 reading from the same sample was 1847 (Poor). 

  For some reason the incubator reset its target temperature back to the default of 37.5. Noticed in time. 

  HoTWater’s Fluidion Alert 1 reading from the same sample was 223 (Excellent). 

  It may have appeared that nothing has been happening for a while but I have been doing further tests in the background to iron out some procedural errors.  9/April/2026 we have a result of 133 cfu/100ml for Basmore Lane.
